When I arrived to Instituto de Alhambra I planned on being there for 2 weeks and then move to another city to study. When I got involved with the students, teachers, beach and everything else Malaga has to offer I realized there is no other place I would rather be. You will realize this to when you arrive.

Everything was great!! From the moment I arrived to the school, my sweet beachfront appartment I instantly felt at home. My Spanish improved significantly at "Escuela Alhambra" which helped me prepare for a year studying philosophy and literature side by side with Malagueños at the University of Malaga..

I can definetely recommend the Alhambra school for foreign students. The teachers are very nice, friendly and patient. They are more like friends and you can have a lot of fun with them. The excursions ( tapas safari, parties in Netscafé) have been lots of fun and I joined every tour. I lived in a host family for 3 months and I was glad to be with such a nice family. I was forced to speak spanish all day and it was the best way to improve. These 3 months in Málaga, El Palo, were the best time I´ve ever had. I told my friends about that and they might come to attend a spanish course, as well. Thanks to everyone at that school. We all had a great time there.

The school is perfectly situated in the city center, close to the city hall. The standard of the equipment and classrooms are very pleasing and the friendly staff helps you as best as they can.
The small classes gives you the opportunity to really get to know the teachers and your fellow students. They are also your first ticket to the Spanish culture and way of life. When I attended to the first class, I could not speak a single word of Spanish. But after it I knew I would learn a lot. They know how to teach!!
Sevilla is an amazing city. It stuns you from the very first moment you get off the plane.
The architecture is fascinating and you can almost feel the historic beat as you wander around the narrow and quaint streets.
You will love the relaxed pace and warm atmosphere. Sevilla offers all the advantages of any big metropolis. The nightlife, bars and clubbing are just great!! And the shopping facilities are absolutely top end!!.
I would recmmmend it to anyone!

I have known this school Alhambra since 1999, and since the first time I did my Spanish course during my vacation season, I always go back to Màlaga and naturally to Alhambra Institute. Even though the professors are young, they have advanced knowledge about Spanish language, and they are willing to explain all of the problems ( Grammar, Vocabularies, and their uses ) to each students.
Thanks for the activities that they organise almost every day, such as small excursions, visiting museums, Flamenco lessons, etc... All of the students have opportunities to get to know Spanish language, also Spanish culture, their customs, and Spanish mood. I personally recommend this school to all the people who want to learn Spanish language, having a good time, taking advantage of what Alhambra offers, in the friendly city Màlaga. I have been actually telling people about Alambra, and I still will.

So far I have been an Alhambra student twice and I am already looking forward to my next stay in Malaga. What I especially like about Alhambra is the ideal combination of studying and vacation. After class and little homework you still have time to enjoy the beach, the area or take part at the school activities.

I did my course in Malaga two years ago ( for 3 weeks in August, because I had to improve my Spanish skill ). I really enjoyed the time there, and my Spanish grammar improved, I had many chances to have a conversation. I was not scared to talk with people, also I met many friends that we still keep in touch with. The professors in the school are young and kind, but they know how to teach. I can say that thanks for those courses, now I do not have any problems. I also realised that what I had learned before at school was useless. This is what I can recommend to everyone.

I did my Spanish Course at Alhambra Institute and we were like one big family there. All of the professors were always there to help us, their explanations were very clearly to understand, and the classes were very interesting. I was staying at the Spanish Host-family’s house, and I still keep in touch with them. I also had many chances to get to know different people from all over the world.
Within the all activities that they provide, I recommend the Paella Party, Safari de Tapas in the city, or Beach volleyball.

I have been to the Seville School two times already, the first time was in the year 2000, and the other time was in 2005. The school had very positive and happy environment which made me feel like a part of the family or good friend. My professor was very fun and good teacher, and we could learn a lot in short period of time. Not only that he gave us some Spanish lectures, but also he went out with us at night time. The accommodations were very different when it comes to the quality, but they are good enough in general.
Alexander Kierdorf (28), Germany

When I visited the school last year, I really had such a good time, and I like this school a lot. All of the professors were very kind, and they always helped me whenever I had a problem. Also they have fantastic activities ( especially the parties ).
I lived in host- family’s house just like native Spanish people, and the family was very nice and kind, too.
