You are never too old to learn

If you are a teacher or involved in some way with older people who are learning Spanish, then you will be interested to know that we often “tailor-make” programmes specifically for older groups.

These programmes usually last one or two weeks and include morning classes and afternoon cultural activities and sightseeing. Accommodation is arranged in a comfortable nearby hotel or with one of our Homestays who enjoy the company of mature guests.

For those mature professionals, retirees, or senior citizens whose passion is not only to travel in Spain or Latin America, but learn the Spanish language and culture, Alhambra Instituto offers this Spanish Language program specially designed for the "young at heart".

No matter what your level is, beginner, intermediate or advanced, you will learn and improve your Spanish skills by building new vocabulary and practicing everyday useful phrases. These new skills will allow you to enjoy and understand not only the language, but also the culture of Spain.

Summary

Adults of all ages are welcome on our programmes throughout the year but some students prefer to study with other older students and to enjoy our sightseeing programme. There are visits to well known attractions in and around Malaga.

Our Alhambra Club 50+ Spanish for Seniors course is as much about travel and discovering Malaga and Andalucia as it is about learning Spanish intensively. This exciting 2 week course is exclusively for people aged 50 and over who love to travel, meet like minded people and want to improve their Spanish.

You will have 20 Spanish lessons each week in a small group. Our highly trained teachers create a comfortable atmosphere in which you will enjoy learning Spanish. The course is highly practical and focuses on speaking Spanish confidently in the everyday situations which you would encounter whilst travelling in Spain or Latin America.

Accommodation:

Homestay accommodation with a Spanish local host family can be arranged if desired. However, this course can also be taken without accommodation.
